Built on a belief that every Cameroonian youth deserves a chance.

Since 2017, CAYEN has been turning potential into skill, and skill into opportunity — one youth at a time.

Our Story

How CAYEN Began

The Cameroon Youths Empowerment Network (CAYEN) was established in 2017 to address a growing and urgent challenge: youth unemployment and the lack of access to practical, market-relevant skills across Cameroon.

Recognizing that many young people possess talent but lack opportunity, CAYEN was founded with a clear vision: empower youths through vocational training, entrepreneurship, leadership development, and community engagement — completely free of charge.

Headquartered in Yaoundé and now operating across Cameroon — including Douala — CAYEN continues to expand its reach by partnering with skilled professionals, businesses, and volunteers who share the same commitment to youth development.
